Humboldt Redwood Company maintains chain-of-custody certification for its sawmill, distribution centers, and its forestry operations through the Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®). FSC is the leading certification standard for healthy, well-managed forests worldwide. Humboldt Redwood’s forestry operations include approximately 327 square miles (209,300 acres) of coastal Redwood and Douglas-fir forestlands in Humboldt County, California. Logs from Humboldt Redwood’s forestry operations are manufactured into solid lumber products at the company’s sawmill in Scotia, California. Humboldt Redwood sells to independent lumber yards, and home improvement retailers.
