HitecVision is Europe’s leading private equity investor focused on the upstream offshore oil and gas industry. HitecVision is headquartered in Stavanger, the center of the Norwegian oil and gas industry, and has offices in Oslo and Houston. Since 1994, we have invested in, acquired or established more than 150 companies (including add-on acquisitions). HitecVision provides capital and competence to growth companies in the oil and gas sector in Europe and North America. We invest across the entire upstream oil and gas sector, including all segments of the oilfield services and technology sector as well as exploration and production companies. The investment team’s extensive operational and investment experience from the oil and gas industry enables us to create value by partnering with entrepreneurial managers to build profitable and sustainable companies. HitecVision manages five active private equity funds with a total committed capital base of around USD 5 billion. Approximately 85% of the capital is provided from investors outside Norway, from an investor base consisting of leading international institutional investors - including private and public pension funds, foundations, sovereign wealth funds, university endowments and fund-of-funds. HitecVision is a member of the Norwegian Venture Capital Association (NVCA).
