Hirepool is the leading equipment hire company in New Zealand. Our customers range from DIYers at home, the vast range of small to medium companies such as tradies and sub contractors, right through to the very big corporate customers like Fulton Hogan and Downers who work on large-scale projects. We’ve been hiring out our gear for 60 years and in that time there’s hardly been a project that we haven’t touched in some way. We got our start around the same time as some pretty big projects were being built, like the Auckland Harbour Bridge. Hirepool gear was used on the Clyde Dam Hydro project and on projects right across the country. Hirepool has invested in the biggest range of equipment, from orbital sanders to earthmoving and excavation machinery. We have the most square metres of workshop space and the largest number of qualified mechanics in the hire industry. We can be found all around the country with a network of 58 branches from Invercargill to the far north. There are about 600 people in our team. They are in jobs as front line staff dealing with customers, backroom support crew keeping our equipment in top shape and sales and management staff.
