Highfield Healthcare provides specialist care to the elderly. It was founded by Dr. John Eustace in 1825 and is currently managed by the fifth and sixth generations of the Eustace family. Highfield Healthcare has expanded significantly since inception and now has 4 facilities and a total complement of 313 beds. New standards introduced under HIQA (Health Information and Quality Authority) and the Mental Health Commission have sought to improve standards throughout the sector, however high standards have always been the ethos of Highfield Healthcare.
