As is typical of a Head of School's "Welcome to our School" web site page, I invite you to explore our site and learn all you can about Heathwood Hall. You will find a considerable depth of content here, including most of Edline, our Intranet that is the vehicle for daily postings for our community. However, my invitation is a bit misleading. I really want to encourage you to visit our campus site, talk with us and explore. As much information as it provides, our web site can not possibly do justice to what you will find going on once you walk our campus and see for yourself that we are living our mission through thought, word and deed. We hope your visit to Heathwood.org gives you a sense of who were are and where we are going. We are dedicated to knowing each child well, strong academics, hiring and keeping faculty who are inspired and inspiring, quality co-curriculars, understanding how we learn best, what it means to pursue both mastery and meaning, along with countless other qualities you would expect to find at a leading independent school. Just as important, we are an Episcopal school and expect that you will see connections to that tradition in every facet of our school life and work at Heathwood Hall. I encourage you to look around, and I hope you will do the same with every school site you visit. When I was growing up, I remember a local clothing chain advertising "an educated consumer is our best customer." While I hope that you will find a much deeper bond to Heathwood Hall Episcopal School than that of business and consumer, I believe the statement resonates with what I have found since coming onboard . . . the more you compare, the better we look.
