Hawaiian Telcom Communications, Inc. is a full-service telecommunications provider in Hawaii, operating two business segments: wireline services and other. The wireline services segment provides local telephone service including voice and data transport, enhanced custom calling features, network access, directory assistance and private lines. In addition, the segment provides high-speed Internet, long distance services, customer premise equipment, data solutions, billing and collection, and pay telephone services. Its services are offered on several Hawaii’s islands. As of December 31, 2007, its telecommunication operations served: 560,417 local access lines, 263,882 long distance lines, and 93,446 high-speed Internet lines.
