What Is Havenwood?
Havenwood is non-profit organization founded in 1993 that provides transitional housing for single parents and resources to break down the barriers each family faces in order to move from homelessness to self-sufficiency. The Havenwood program provides supportive transitional housing for single parents and their children. Located just one half-mile from the Bentonville downtown square, our facility houses fifteen fully furnished apartments, complete with private kitchen and bath, for each of the families. The Havenwood program meets basic needs by providing a safe place to live, family, group and individual counseling, and coordinates with community support and resources to break down the barriers each family faces in order to move from homelessness to self-sufficiency.
