Halladay Motors, Inc. has been a successful family owned and operated business since 1944. Carl Halladay Jr. took over the dealership from his father in the early 1970s and in 1993 sold the dealership to Tim Joannides. At the beginning of 2002, Tim's son Chris was promoted to Vice President ensuring that Halladay Motors will continue to be local family owned and operated. Tim is still actively involved in the business as President. Carl Halladay Sr. established Halladay Motors Inc. in October 1944 as an Oldsmobile dealer. Halladay Motors has grown adding Cadillac, GMC, Nissan, Suzuki and GMC Medium Duty trucks to their product line. With the anticipation that Oldsmobile would be dropped, Halladay Motors added Cheyenne's Buick and Pontiac franchises to their vehicle lineup in the summer of 2003 and Subaru in May 2005. Pre-owned vehicles are offered at our GM Certified Pre-Owned lot adjacent to the new car showroom, at Halladay Motors Suzuki Sales Center on the corner of Westland Road and Lincolnway and at our new Nissan building at 1880 Westland as well as at our new Bargain Corner/Buy Here Pay here location at 16th and Van Lennon. Halladay Motors features their GM Goodwrench Service Center, a new RV, fleet and commercial service center and a new modern, state of the art Paint and Collision Center located at 16th and Van Lennon adjacent to the Bargain Corner Buy Here/Pay Here sales center. In May 2005 Halladay Motors opened their new Nissan building. They plan to break ground on thier new Suzuki/ Subaru building in 2005.
