What Is HOVMAND A/S?
As the world-leading manufacturer of mobile battery-powered lifting devices we constantly work towards making professional life safer and more efficient. Our high-quality lifting and moving solutions, made of aluminum and stainless steel, facilitate the handling of heavy objects - such as boxes, drums, reels and kettles. Thereby loads of up to 300 kilograms can be handled in the production process by one person alone. In addition to standard models we offer customized solutions that we can realize in a short time due to our engineers. Our family business was founded 1972 by Bibi und Hans Christian Hovmand in Sorø, Denmark. The present owner and managing director Søren Hovmand entered the company of his parents in 1999 and took over management in 2007. Today we operate three sites in Denmark, Germany and Switzerland due to a stable growth over the past years. In every facility teamwork, enthusiasm and respect are the basis of our day-to-day working together. We recognize outstanding performance and offer fitting promotion opportunities. Our employees want to make a difference and enable a continuous development of our products as well as a better working life in the production. This has been driving us forward - for more than 45 years.
