GulfMark Offshore Revenue and Competitors

GulfMark Offshore, Inc. provides offshore marine services primarily to companies involved in offshore exploration and production of oil and natural gas. The Company's vessels transport drilling materials, supplies and personnel to offshore facilities, as well as move and position drilling structures. The majority of its operations are conducted in the North Sea, with the balance in offshore Southeast Asia, Brazil and West Africa. Periodically, GulfMark Offshore will charter vessels into other regions to meet its customers' requirements. The size of the Company's fleet has grown from 51 vessels on December 31, 2001, to 56 vessels on March 21, 2003, and is comprised of platform supply vessels, anchor handling, towing and supply vessels, construction support vessels, standby rescue vessels and specialty vessels.
