GoodWe is a rapidly expanding global supplier of solar PV energy string inverters. According to Wood Mackenzie and Bloomberg, in 2018 the company was the 7th most prominent PV inverter supplier in the world and also on that year IHS identified GoodWe as the world 4th largest three-phase inverter supplier. GoodWe was founded in the year 2010 in the city of Suzhou and in just a few years has achieved a leading position in the global market. The company designs and manufactures inverters for the residential, commercial and energy storage segments, with a power range from 0.7kW to 250kW of both single and three-phase type. The total global work force of the company at the end of 2019 exceeds 1000 employees, including an expanding international team of solar professionals from more than 20 nationalities. In the international market, the track record of GoodWe has also been of remarkable success, with GoodWe inverters deployed in more than 100 countries and a total global PV installation that in 2019 surpassed the 15GW. GoodWe's international markets include some of the most mature and demanding solar markets, such as Australia, the Netherlands, India and Turkey and growing operations across the most vibrant emerging markets, such as Vietnam, Brazil and Mexico. GoodWe has been consistently expanding its presence in the international market and at present it includes offices and service centers in 15 countries, including Germany, where the company set up a GmbH entity in 2018 and a large service center in India. GoodWe's network of international partners include some of the most reputed solar distributors in the world and an expanding collaboration with EPC across a number of landmark projects.
