GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Having worked in partnership since October 2010, both schools’ governing bodies and leadership teams believed that, as like-minded partners, working in different sectors gave incredible opportunities to the children and students of both schools.\r\n\r\nArmed with that simple philosophy, we began our ‘journey’ — a journey that would help us become a MAT of more than 700 talented staff working with over 5000 children in 20 schools across 5 counties in southern England.\r\n\r\nWe are confident that GLF Schools has the capacity to support any school in its improvement journey, no matter its present context. We are passionate about helping schools achieve the best possible outcomes for their children and young people.\r\n\r\nGLF Schools aspires to create a group of academies that have a reputation for delivering an outstanding education for all children and students. Whilst operating as a part of a family, each school exists in its own right maintaining its own unique characteristics and individual identity.
