Headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, Foundry Group invests in companies across the United States, with an emphasis on Colorado-based companies. Foundry Group is typically the first institutional investor in the companies in which we invest, and we are comfortable participating in seed-level financings. Though we are early-stage investors, our expectation is that we will continue to fund the companies in which we invest throughout their lifecycles. Accordingly, we seek to take a substantial early ownership position and maintain it through successive financings.
