What Is Flint Energies?
Flint Energies is a customer owned, not for profit electric cooperative like some 990 other EMCs across the nation. Each consumer who receives electric service from Flint is part owner in the corporation and is referred to as a member. As a not for profit, customer-owned corporation, Flint is dedicated to providing its customers with the best service at the lowest possible price. An eleven-member board of directors, elected from and by customers, regulates Flint. The board names the chief executive officer, who in turn is responsible for appointing the management staff that operates and maintains the system. Flint's President/CEO is Joe Cade and it's chief operating officer is Bob Ray.
