What Is Flight Support?

Flight Support Inc. (FSI) is certified as both an FAA & EASA Repair Facility - Air Agency Certificate TA5R216N. FSI is an Engineering & Repair Facility that Develops Repairs designed to Reduce an Airlines overall Fuel Consumption, Engine Maintenance & Daily Operating Costs. We design custom cost effective repairs for expensive or high volume components your currently forced to scrap and replace with either expensive new or substandard non OEM spec parts. We use “LASER CLADDING & ROBOTIC TECHNOLOGIES” which allows for a more effective, precise and intelligent motion while welding turbine blades, vanes, etc. and “RECAST”, a patented process used to restore dimensions to airfoils and adjacent configurations without welding, to achieve overhaul perfection and ultimately Peak Engine Performance, in our Hi-Tech Repairs and Research & Development. Two of our most sought out repairs are for CF6-80 Compressor Vanes, which restores the vane back to 100% of the OEM Spec and our “NO STRIP” repair for JT8D-200 series 1st Turbine Blades, which overhauls the blade without the use of acids or caustic solutions, therefore protecting the integrity of the base metal (inside & out) extending the parts overall life. Both of these repairs are being used by Delta Airlines resulting in a reduction in overall engine maintenance costs.
