FastFiber is the biggest wholesale optical fiber provider, with the largest fiber network in Portugal.\n\nFastFiber resulted from a partnership between PT Portugal, SGPS, S.A (50.01%), an entity part of Altice Portugal, and MDN Senior Holding S.A. (49.99%), an entity part of NHIP III, managed by Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners, comprising its network all the fiber assets that belonged to Altice Portugal.\n\nIn October 2022, we acquired the exclusive control of Fibroglobal, an active operator in the management, operation, and maintenance of high-speed electronic communications networks, in low density areas of Central Portugal and Azores, which resulted in an increase in the group's network coverage, reinforcing its positioning as Portugal’s main fiber operator.\n\nWe focus on providing future proof fiber infrastructures to national and international operators, enabling them to develop their networks and to provide better services to their end customers, both in the consumer and business segments.\n\nWith more than 5,6 million homes passed (considering also Fibroglobal Network), our main goal is to increase our national network coverage, leading Portugal to be the first country in Europe to have full optical fiber coverage, keeping up with the constant evolution of communication services, including the 5G mobile networks.
