As a privately owned family business incorporated in 1951, Farmer continues to actively conduct its operations in the Greater Victoria area, on Vancouver Island and throughout British Columbia. \n\nHaving worked successfully in all disciplines of construction including General Contracting, Construction Management, Design Build and Tenant Improvements we take great pride in having built a solid reputation for managing and constructing quality projects on time and on budget.\n\nThe Farmer Group is a traditional contractor, not simply a “broker.” We have the knowledge and experience to work co-operatively with an owner’s consultant and architect from project conception to completion proposing cost saving options where available while retaining the project’s original vision. We use our own skilled trades labour to better control the critical path of the project schedule and quality of work. \n\nIn addition to the many developers we have served as repeat clients in the private sector, we are regularly engaged in public tendering of commercial, industrial, institutional and residential projects that keep us involved in our communities and remain competitive.
