Family Housing Advisory Services (FHAS) is Omaha’s premier comprehensive housing and financial counseling agency since 1968. We seek to build community and increase housing opportunities by empowering people to secure and sustain safe and affordable housing. FHAS is certified by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to provide Comprehensive Housing Counseling Services. We offer three office locations to best serve your needs: Omaha - North, Omaha - South and Council Bluffs. Our Mission: To improve the quality of life by helping people achieve financial and housing stability through education and advocacy. Our Purpose: To advance the prosperity of the community by educating and empowering people to obtain, maintain and retain housing, and reach financial security.
