What Is Faculty of Life Sciences and Computing?

The Faculty of Life Sciences and Computing has a strong emphasis on industry applied teaching and research and boasts a wide network of industry connections. Based in central London, we offer some of the best opportunities for students, staff and alumni to build a professional network on the job market. In addition to the many courses we offer, we run career boosting workshops and industry related networking events as well as offer internships, project work and other career enhancing opportunities for our community through our industry connections, as for example through the WOW Agency, WOWBiz initiative and the Student Enterprise Workshops (SEW). On this page, we post updates about the numerous activities taking place at our Faculty, as well as post updates on courses and other opportunities available that will help our community to develop their careers and stay ahead of the curve on the job market in the future. About our schools: The Faculty consists of three schools: School of Computing, School of Human Sciences, and School of Psychology: * The School of Computing specialises in industry relevant applied computing and is home to 25 exciting labs, as for example: Animation Lab, Microwave Fibre Optic and Satellite Labs, Cisco Lab and the Mobile Applications Lab which inc app building for multi-platform smartphones. * The School of Human Sciences boasts a £30 million Science Centre, inc "Super Lab" which is the largest teaching laboratory in Europe. * The School of Psychology offers a range of courses of which many are professionally accredited by the British Psychological Society and the Health Professions Council.
