What Is FOCUS BEHAVIORAL ASSOCIATES?

Focus Behavioral Associates has been in business since 2012 to the families of Waco and Central Texas. Our therapists provide clinical-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to treat and enhance the lives of children and adults with socially significant behaviors. We work with a variety of clients, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and other common behavior diagnosis. Focus Behavioral Associates’ therapists have an extensive background in ABA therapy. Each therapist receives continual training in ABA practices, is CPR/First Aid certified, and has been cleared with a formal background check. All therapy programs provided by our team are supervised by a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst). Focus Behavioral Associates has partnered with Baylor University’s Educational Psychology department by offering Internships for their graduate students. Therapeutic Services Our Therapeutic Services includes: Applied Behavior Analysis Teacher Training Parent and Caregiver Training Direct Therapy Consultation ABA therapy is a medically and scientifically accepted treatment that enables children with autism to increase communication, motor, and reasoning skills; enhance social functioning; decrease negative behaviors; and lead more independent lives. The U.S. Surgeon General, the National Institutes of Health, the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Medicare and Medicaid systems, and leading scholars and researchers have all found ABA therapy to be effective in treating autism spectrum disorder.
