After many years of development and testing, Evanesce Packaging Solutions Inc. plans to produce and distribute its patented compostable packaging technology at a commercial scale in 2020. Evanesce recognizes the growing global need to replace existing packaging technology with compostable, biodegradable and commercially viable alternatives that are cost competitive. Evanesce's proprietary compostable packaging technology is revolutionary in nature and potentially disruptive to the industry. This novel solution uses readily available plant-based by-products as the major ingredient in our patented formula. It will be truly biodegradable and significantly less costly than other current commercially available "green" food packaging options; while being price competitive with current mainstream packaging products. Evanesce is GRAS compliant and currently holds three patents granted by the USPTO and Canada's CIPO. The Company continues to enhance its IP protection globally, with new patents being filed.
