What Is Epistemic Analytics?

The Epistemic Analytics lab, located in the Wisconsin Center for Education Research at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, creates novel approaches and statistical tools to improve the assessment of complex thinking. The Epistemic Analytics lab is an innovator in the creation of new research and learning initiatives and projects, including Epistemic Network Analysis (ENA), nCoder, and several other epistemic tools and games. Our tools are widely used by researchers, professors, and students worldwide. This work is funded in part by the National Science Foundation (DRL-1661036, DRL-1713110), the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation, and the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
