What Is Durham Tees Valley Airport?

Durham Tees Valley Airport is perfectly located within a max. 30 minute drive of Darlington, Stockton, Middlesbrough, Hartlepool, Durham and the wider Tees Valley & North Yorkshire area. We serve a population of circa 1.5m, currently handling around 160,000 passengers a year. We offer Worldwide connectivity to over 323 destinations via our 3 times daily flight to Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam with KLM airlines. These flights conveniently serve our business community with journey time efficiency to a wide range of destinations demanded by these organisations. Our biggest users fly regularly to Scandinavia, Russia, The US, Germany, The Far East and increasingly Africa. These scheduled flights, being right on your doorstep, also serve as a perfect stepping stone from which to organise your own personal holiday. DTVA provides a high quality passenger experience with minimal queuing times, simple and efficient processes and ultimately a small friendly airport service all in one terminal building. Parking is available with 100m of the terminal entrance. "Your Private Airport". The Oil & Gas sector is of huge importance to the NE economy and as such DTVA with Eastern Airways helps keep this sector moving. With four daily flights to Aberdeen these two huge hubs of industry are extremely well connected. DTVA offers a weekly flight to Jersey which is always very well subscribed. And for 2015, Newmarket Holidays have increased their offering to 7 destinations for their packaged tours. DTVA, early in 2014, finalised it's MasterPlan document, setting out its vision of how the Airport will diversify and identify new revenue streams. Through this document DTVA sets out its plan to ensure the long term viability of such an important airport for connectivity for the region. The document can be found via our website at www.dtva-master-plan.co.uk. For any further enquiries please contact our Partnerships & Communications Manager at jgrant@peelairports.com.
