Dowling Catholic High School is a Catholic secondary school located in West Des Moines, Iowa. In 1972, St Joseph Academy for girls--established in 1887--and Dowling High School for boys--established in 1918--merged to become what is now Dowling Catholic High School. The mission of the faculty and staff at Dowling Catholic High School is to provide a quality educational experience for young people in an environment that fosters excellence in academics and spiritual development. Approximately 1,100 students attend Dowling Catholic High School. Mission: Dowling Catholic High School is committed to serving the Greater Des Moines Catholic community and embracing learners of all faiths.
