Ankeny Community School District Revenue and Competitors

Ankeny Community School District is the 7th largest public school system in Iowa. Over the last five years, annual enrollment increases have averaged more than 430 students per year, making Ankeny one of the fastest growing school districts in the state. The high expectations of our Board, staff, parents, citizens, and of our students themselves result in numerous academic awards, athletic achievements, and activities accolades for our young people. The district’s current grade configuration includes ten K-5 elementary schools, two 6-7 middle schools, two 8-9 middle schools, and two high schools serving grades 10-12. For the 2015-2016 academic year, we will educate 10,793 students. Ankeny School’s staff includes more than 1,500 employees, which makes the school district one of Ankeny’s top employers.
