Dorset Councils Partnership Revenue and Competitors

We are Dorset Councils Partnership. Three councils with a single workforce. North Dorset District Council, West Dorset District Council and Weymouth and Portland Borough Council are transforming services for customers and communities and reduce running costs by millions. Each council remains independent and equal, with its own councillors who continue to make local decisions about services. Each council sets its own budget, council tax and maintains its separate identity, brand and sovereignty. The councils are ambitious and committed to facing future challenges head-on to get the best deal for customers and communities we serve. Together the councils serve 235,000 people and cover 669 square miles of stunning coastline and countryside, with seaside destinations, such as Weymouth, West Bay and Lyme Regis.
