Digital Impact Alliance (DIAL) at the United Nations Foundation Revenue and Competitors

DIAL’s vision is to realize a more inclusive digital economy for the underserved in emerging markets so that all women, men and children can benefit from life-enabling, mobile-based digital services. DIAL aspires to achieve this vision by accelerating the collective efforts of government, industry and development organizations. We will contribute to the sector in four ways: 1) Convene the community, offering mechanisms to encourage knowledge sharing, collaboration and co-investment. 2) Learn and demonstrate how to overcome key barriers, promoting scale up and replication of successful models, creating public goods where necessary. 3) Generate insights and data to strengthen others’ investments and service design and delivery efforts. 4) Advocate good practice recommendations to governments, industry, funders and implementers.
