What Is Defense Security Cooperation University?

Established by the Defense Security Cooperation Agency in response to 2017 legislation, DSCU is the center of excellence for security cooperation training, education, and academic research. DSCU develops curriculum, provides instruction, and partners with other institutions to train and educate the security cooperation workforce and others involved in security cooperation. DSCU also oversees and manages the implementation of the Department of Defense Security Cooperation Workforce Development Program to develop an agile, certified, and experienced workforce ready to meet the current and future global security cooperation missions.
