What Is Dascena?
Dascena was founded in late 2014 by Ritankar Das, who developed diagnostic algorithms for complex critical conditions while a Ph.D. at The University of Cambridge. Since then, algorithms for sepsis, acute kidney injury, and decompensation have been developed. Our flagship location-based in Oakland, CA is continuing to develop more life-saving technologies - while our newly developed Houston, TX laboratory has been designed to accelerate COVID-19 testing capabilities. We currently have one of the highest turn-around times for pandemic testing and are working every day to aid in flattening the curve.
