What Is Custom Engineered Wheels?

As a world leader in quality composite wheel products, Custom Engineered Wheels (CEW) offers customers a clear solution to their product needs. Customers have come to rely on our consistent performance for world class delivery, outstanding quality, product innovation and exceptional customer service. CEW partners with our customers to act as extensions of their engineering groups, manufacturing processes and global supply chain solutions. Whether it is providing standard CEW products, or creating newly engineered product solutions, CEW has an impressive array of production and engineering capabilities standing ready to make your product goals a reality. Value is additionally provided by our North American manufacturing facilities located strategically to service our customers with faster deliveries and potential lower cost solutions than they have experienced with others. Our beginnings start as a joint venture between Hamlin and Sun Metal in 1976, then a standalone company in 1979, purchased by Spartech in 1996, then reborn as a new company, CEW in 2009. Additional capabilities were added in 2000 with the acquisition of Alshin Tire giving CEW a strong presence in the international Polyurethane Molding market for tires and other product solutions. CEW's technologies continue to evolve as our customer's needs change. Currently customers experience the value of our Thermoplastic Injection Molding, Polyurethane Molding, and unique Lost Core Molding services in addition to the wide array of secondary services provided. Some of these services include our Tread Cap tire solutions, painting, machining, heat staking, inserting and assembly. However it is most common for relationships to start with CEW through the customer’s appreciation for the upfront engineering, testing and product design value that we bring to them, allowing product solutions that others simply cannot offer.
