Vermont Pure Holdings, Ltd. has been a bottler, marketer and distributor of natural spring water under the Vermont Pure and Hidden Spring brands, as well as purified water with minerals added under the Crystal Rock brand, to the retail consumer and home and office markets. The Company sold its products primarily in New England, New York and New Jersey, as well as the Mid-Atlantic and the Midwestern United States. Vermont has operated through two main operating subsidiaries, Crystal Rock Spring Water Company, Inc. and Vermont Pure Springs, Inc. In March 2004, Micropack Bottled Water, a manufacturer and seller of value-tier, single-serve bottled water products, acquired of the assets of Vermont Pure Springs, Inc. Micropack also acquired the Hidden Spring trademark and will continue to market spring water in single-serve packages under the Vermont Pure brand name.
