What Is Criminal Justice Ministry?

Criminal Justice Ministry seeks to serve, not to judge, by improving the safety and well being of individuals affected by crime and the criminal justice system, their families and their communities in the Greater St. Louis Area. Since 1979, CJM has supported and empowered those whose lives have been impacted by incarceration. Initially a ministry of the St. Vincent de Paul Society to provide prison ministry for the Archdiocese of St. Louis, CJM is now an independent, non-profit community agency. The agency provides jail and prison ministry, client re-entry services and advocacy for community safety and criminal justice reform.
