The Couch Tomato Cafe’ features many fresh, local, and organic items, award winning artisan pizzas, craft salads, sandwiches, and homemade soups. The cafe’ in Manayunk established itself in 2003 as the area’s leading takeout, delivery, and catering favorite, winning several accolades including “Best Pizza†by Philadelphia Magazine, “Best Healthy Lunch by PHL17, and “Best Soupsâ€by City Paper, just to name a few. The cafe’ also specializes in vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free offerings, which has helped make it such a popular choice for takeout, delivery, catering, or dining in! The bistro was established in 2011 directly upstairs from the cafe’ and has also won several accolades including a 4.5 star rating on Yelp.com. The bistro also touts it’s well received craft beer, wine, and drink menu. It’s the perfect spot for date-night or a family night out. Also offering room rental / private parties, and don’t forget to always use the FREE valet parking! The West Chester branch opened in January of 2015, offering all the same benefits as the Manayunk cafe', plus you can enjoy the roof deck garden seating area with your favorite six-pack (it’s BYOB)! We vow to consistently source organic and local produce, hormone and antibiotic-free meats, and an overall “natural†product whenever possible. We make our white and wheat pizza crust with organic flours and ingredients. Our red pizza sauce is made from tomatoes roasted fresh daily in our ovens (not canned). Our beverages range from organic to all-natural, to fair trade certified. We further extend our offerings with house made gluten-free pizza crust, non-GMO cookies, and more! We are committed to an extraordinary emphasis on the quality and integrity of our product, and take great pride in our scratch kitchen. We go that extra mile!
