As a result, members & their families often face financial hardships when an unexpected illness, injury or death occurs. Our Paycheck Protection options help American union workers avoid financial devastation & life changing events by identifying gaps in their coverage & providing viable & affordable benefit options that will enhance the current insurance they have in place. Our mission at Cornerstone is to provide comprehensive & affordable group benefits through both Short & Long-term Disability, Life Insurance including Accidental Death & Dismemberment coverage, Accident & Critical Illness coverage, & more. Our benefits are necessary in providing union members additional financial security & peace-of-mind from unexpected injury, illness or death. By partnering with unions & their leadership, we can provide supplemental coverage on a voluntary basis without any medical tests, questions or underwriting. All actively working, dues-paying members are 100% guaranteed approved during their union’s 60-day Open Enrollment period. We make it our priority to ensure that no one can be denied coverage for any reason, including their medical history. We recognize that payroll deduction isn’t always an option for union sponsored benefit plans. That’s why our plans allow members to pay their premium through a secure & private ACH payment process from their personal checking or savings accounts. In the last 5 years, the supplemental coverage we have provided our union partners has paid union members & their families over $75,000,000 in Paycheck Protection benefits.
