What Is Cornell Sustainability Consultants?

The Cornell Sustainability Consultants (CSC) is an interdisciplinary student group that evolves with the communities it serves. Highlighting the importance of economic efficiency and environmental leadership, our teams work with local organizations and industry experts to define not only what it means to be sustainable, but also how to achieve it. CSC envisions a society characterized by strong circular economies and resilient communities committed to continued innovation and environmental stewardship. Resources which are valued at all points of their life-cycle play a perpetual role in an interconnected system of closed loops and lasting partnerships. Members immerse themselves in the realm of sustainability to expand their impact and eventually develop into the next breed of industry leaders. Our mission is to serve as a catalyst for sustainability on the local level. We do this in a multitude of ways ranging from providing industry-specific recommendations to fostering collaboration both on campus and within local municipalities.
