What Is Connecting Dreams Foundation-SRCC Chapter?

Connecting Dreams Foundation-SRCC Chapter is a youth-led entrepreneurship initiative which strives to fill the gap between rural and urban India by setting up sustainable business models.   MISSION: Endeavoring to Create a Change by impacting uncountable lives.   VISION: Empowerment of youth and women in rural India through Connectivity and Entrepreneurship. VALUES: Celebrating the spirit of social Entrepreneurship while working for creating a positive impact. PROJECTS: Currently, CDF-SRCC is working on 5 major projects:  PROJECT AAROGYA strives to create an impact on the lives of thousands of women and young girls by providing them with clean and safe sanitary protection to enhance their menstrual health and protect them from various medical conditions that arise due to the usage of other improvised methods of sanitary protection. PROJECT ANSHUMI aims to create a self-sustainable social entrepreneurship model that manages waste generation and creates a waste transformation & disposal chain by engaging slum women. After the waste is segregated at source, the organic component is transferred to our waste management unit which is managed by women and the generated manure is thereby sold. PROJECT ARPAN engages underprivileged women in the administrative process and manufacturing of Low-Smoke Incense Sticks thereby having a twofold impact: Improving the socio-economic condition of women in rural India, and Solving the problem of micro-level pollution. PROJECT DREAM LIBRARY is an initiative undertaken to remove disparity from the lives of hundreds of underprivileged children. The main motto behind Dream Library is to set up libraries in schools for underprivileged students who are unable to afford books on their own. PROJECT RIVAAYAT is an initiative by CDF-SRCC to solve the problems faced by terracotta potters in our country by Connecting the them to the retailers and final customers, thus eliminating the several middlemen that exist in the supply chain.
