Community Investment Fund of Indiana, Inc., (CIFI) seeks to build vibrant communities, strong businesses, and resilient families in historically underserved areas of Indiana. CIFI provides access to financing and leverages resources for community investment and impact. It is a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Created in 2011, CIFI is a private non-profit organization. Our customers include small businesses and organizations involved in housing development. CIFI makes loans and provides development services and has loaned over $5 million throughout Indiana. It has leveraged $60 million in project financing and created or sustained over 900 jobs.
