What Is Community Action Committee of the Lehigh Valley?

The Community Action Committee of the Lehigh Valley, Inc., is a non-profit agency committed to fighting poverty and improving the quality of life in the Lehigh Valley by building a community in which all people have access to economic opportunity and a voice in the decisions that affect their lives. The CACLV is the umbrella organization under which 12 programs offer a variety of services to assist low- moderate-income families and individuals in the Lehigh Valley. These programs provide people with the tools to solve their own problems, rather than solving those problems for them. In addition to being a human services and community development organization, we are an advocate. We are there to strengthen the resolve of people to succeed, to speak out for the voiceless, and to challenge those who would otherwise sit on the sidelines.
