Commonwealth Credit Union was recently named one of the Best Places to Work in Kentucky by the KY Chamber of Commerce and KYSHRM, as well as Kentucky's Best Credit Union by Forbes Magazine. Our mission is to Better the Lives of our members and their families through a full range of financial products and services, financial literacy, and being an active partner in our communities. We believe in "Starting the Ripple" (that you can see in our logo) by living a Culture in which our employees are engaged and empowered to provide extraordinary experiences for each other and our members. By doing that, we are achieving our mission in a way that encourages our staff and members to share our story with everyone they know! \n\nWe are a cooperative, not-for-profit financial institution owned and operated by our 100,000+ members. Our community charter covers the 24 counties in the KIPDA and Bluegrass Area Development Districts, which includes the Louisville, Lexington and Central Kentucky areas, as well as anyone who is related to someone who qualifies via those methods. \n\nWe are also the Preferred Credit Union Partner of the University of Louisville and have additional partnerships with Rupp Arena in Lexington, KY, Metropolitan College in Louisville, and many other community-minded organizations.
