We create comfort by designing pleasantly scaled and appointed public spaces that support a sense of community, safety, and well being. We establish function by understanding the individual requirements of tenants, clients, the residents, and their support services but addressing them as a whole. We achieve familiarity by using the applicable historic vernacular of the community to inform the scale and style of the architecture. Our design process, called Visioning/Visualization, is the process of imagining an element before the effort of construction. Our approach is simply a systematic way of imagining, questioning, and recording that allows the design team and the client and stakeholders to most fully and effectively explore the possibilities and find the path that leads to the most appropriate and innovative design solution.
