Climate Friendly is a profit for purpose carbon farming project services provider. Our vision is for a productive, sustainable land sector that contributes to a zero net emission Australia by 2050. We achieved 20 million tonnes of greenhouse gas reductions by the end of 2020, and our purpose is to scale up to 100 million tonnes by 2025. We do this by supporting rural, regional and remote Australians including farmers, foresters and traditional custodians to reduce Australia’s greenhouse gas emissions and regenerate the landscape through carbon farming. We’re ambitious. But we’ve already achieved so much – and we’re determined to help Australia tap into its potential to tackle the climate challenge through the land sector. As of mid-2021, we have supported registration of over 130 carbon farming projects, covering 10+ million hectares of land. These projects have already been Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCUs) with a carbon equivalent to establishing a mature eucalyptus forest of around 13 million trees.
