Since 2012, Claris Healthcare has been enabling patients to manage their own care at home. Our care platform is used across the 3 phases of care - social, chronic, and acute. Our customers are: 1. Orthopedic clinics that use Claris Reflex to track, coach and monitor patients recovering from total knee replacement surgery. 2. Home care providers use Claris Chronic Care to engage and monitor patients with chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, CPOD, etc 3. Family members use Claris Companion to communicate and monitor their aging loved-ones remotely. Our most innovative product is Claris Reflex. It is a wearable sensor that links to a communications tablet to deliver guidance, coaching, and encouragement in the patient's home while providing quantitative measurement of progress and compliance to their care providers via an online web console. Claris Reflex helps orthopedic practices under bundled payment programs to reduce post-acute care costs. By providing visibility into every aspect of a patient's compliance, Claris Reflex can help reduce costs associated with hospital stay, skilled nursing support, home care, physiotherapy and hospital emergency visits and readmissions. The Claris Reflex wearable sensor uses accelerometers and temperature sensors to measure the patient's joint movements, range of motion, body position, and joint icing. This data, in addition to custom surveys, reminders, and notifications, is used to provide feedback directly to the patient to help them achieve their best possible clinical outcome, while allowing their caregivers to monitor their progress and be alerted to any problems. Patients report better overall satisfaction due to simpler communication with care providers, access to instructional videos and information, as well as direct feedback on their recovery performance.
