An early intervention program for parents and children Mission The Circle of Security® is designed to offer the core elements of secure attachment to parents and professionals. Our work is based upon the following: 1. The quality of parent/child relationship shapes child behavior 2. Parents have innate wisdom and a desire for their children to be secure 3. Parents struggle without a coherent roadmap of their children’s needs 4. Supporting parent reflection on their strengths and struggles, allows them to make new choices in the direction of security It is our belief that supporting security in the current generation will positively influence the shape of future generations. Description Circle of Security® offers trainings to practitioners throughout the world. Attendees are given in-depth information on how the Circle of Security® can help their clients relate to their children and strengthen the family relationships. We offer Introductory and Intensive trainings as well as a specific Circle of Security Parenting© (COS-P) DVD training. The COS-P training provides the attendee with a tool to use with parent groups and in home consultations.
