We promote diversity and provide innovative, individualized services that enhance quality of life.\r\n\r\nWho Are We? \r\n* A non-profit organization serving individuals with developmental disabilities and their families since 1954. \r\n* Individuals who we serve, families and friends of individuals we serve, membership of volunteers who contribute their time and support, volunteer board of directors who determine policies and direction for future, Executive Director, Leadership Team along with professional staff. \r\n* Funded by provincial government contracts through CLBC (Community Living British Columbia) and MCFD-CYSN (Ministry of Children & Family Development - Child & Youth with Special Needs) as well as membership fees and private donations. \r\n* A full member of Inclusion BC and the Canadian Association form Community Living. \r\n* CARF Accredited organization for all of its programs. \r\n\r\n\r\nServices Provided:\r\n* Adult Services include: Staffed Residential, Home Share, Independent Living & Supported living Services, Program, Outreach Services, Community Integration Services, Supported Employment, Community Respite Care.\r\n \r\n* Child & Youth Services includes: Community Respite Care, Kidz Club & Teen Clubs (after school programs for children/youth from 6-18 year olds), SASS (Specialized Autism Support Services) for children/youth with Autism accessing Autism Funding Money, Summer 'Scapes Integrated Summer Day Camp for Children 6-12 years of age, Summer Recreation/Lifeskills/Social Programs for Youth (13-18 years of age), Individualized Services (Small Groups) focusing on lifeskills and pre-employment skills for 15-18 year olds, Individualized Services (1:1 Supports) for children/youth between 6-18 years of age, Staffed Youth Residential home, BRIDGE Youth Employment & Transition Services (18-24 year olds).
