Chicago Review Press is an independent company founded in 1973. Over the years we have grown into a dynamic midsize publisher with more than 300 titles of national interest, currently bringing out about 60 new titles yearly under four imprints: Chicago Review Press, Lawrence Hill Books, A Cappella, and Zephyr Press. Chicago Review Press, Inc., is the parent company of Independent Publishers Group (IPG). Established in 1971, IPG was the first organization specifically created to market titles from independent presses to the book trade. Chicago Review Press, Inc., acquired Independent Publishers Group in 1987. With consistent growth each year, IPG supports and encourages the success of its client publishers throughout the United States and worldwide. IPG now represents more than 300 publishers and is the third-largest book distributor in the United States. All Chicago Review Press titles are distributed internationally and publicized by IPG.
