What Is Charleston Wine and Food?

Charleston Wine + Food is a catalyst for connections that inspire curiosity through thoughtful storytelling + meaningful experiences with a sense of place. At the heart of it, we are an organization that believes that human connection is the most powerful force on Earth and shared stories are the catalyst for this connection. Stories define us, connect us, and give us a sense of place + purpose in life. Charleston Wine + Food is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports Charleston and the Lowcountry's diverse culinary + hospitality community. We are a tribe of passionate humans that champion the region’s unique foodways 365 days a year through world-renowned culinary experiences that bring people together to share stories and create connections that will ignite a fire in your heart + a hunger in your belly. Our largest initiative is an annual festival that takes place in Charleston, South Carolina. Why? Because this city offers the perfect combination of place, people and food that result in an identity unlike any other in the world. Charleston Wine + Food infuses our homegrown flavor with top chefs, winemakers, authors, storytellers, artisans, and food enthusiasts from around the globe for a five-day event that spans the first full weekend each March.
