Cedar Gate Technologies (CGT) is a value-based care performance management company that provides a set of core analytic and operating system functions that healthcare entities must perform to succeed under the new payment and delivery models. It serves the needs of providers, payers and self-insured employers. CGT's ISAAC platform, is a cloud-based SaaS system specifically built to manage risk and value-based contracts. It uses sophisticated financial and statistical methodologies to enable: contract modeling, forecasting and performance management; medical loss ratio performance management; clinical pathway performance management; network and referral performance management; and cost and quality optimization. It uses prescriptive analytics to identify one-to-many performance improvement opportunities across the care deliver system that fix-the-plant. Each opportunity benefits thousands of patients and saves millions of dollars. They enable patient health management at scale. It includes Playbook, an operating plan and project management capability to facilitate financial planning, align the organization and drive accountability around execution. The Gartner July, 2016 Hype Cycle for Healthcare Providers included Value-based Performance Analytics. They noted the financial complexity associated with value-based care, stating: Financial modeling and forecasting has become harder and more complex; the revenue side of the equation is now calculated with a mix of fee for service, bundled payment and shared savings models. Additionally, reimbursement is increasingly linked to better patient outcomes, and incentives will be aligned with the requirements to evaluate quality by measuring clinical performance. Cedar Gate Technologies was listed in the report. Gartner advises providers to get to know the new companies who are providing these capabilities. CGT agrees.
