What Is Camp Walt Whitman?
Camp Walt Whitman is a coed children's summer sleepaway camp located in New Hampshire. Established in 1948, and operated for three generations by the Dorfman/Soloway family, CWW continues to be a driving force in preparing young lives for the challenges and opportunities that the future is certain to bring. Camp Walt Whitman is fortunate to attract particularly nice kids, down-to-earth families, and a strong, experienced, and motivated staff. Our campers are encouraged to be active participants, willing to stretch themselves to try new things and overcome challenges. Camp Walt Whitman's holistic approach to summer camp combines world-class adventure, hands-on exposure to sports and the arts, while developing a sense of community that lasts for a lifetime.
