What Is COPS Monitoring?

C.O.P.S. Monitoring is a U.L. Listed, FM Approved, IQ Certified central station that has been providing alarm monitoring services since 1978. Today, we render these services to more than 2,200 independent alarm dealers who represent nearly 400,000 accounts nationwide. C.O.P.S. operates four separate central station facilities, which are located in Williamstown, NJ, (U.L. File # S5087) Scottsdale, AZ, Grapevine, TX, and Boca Raton, FL. As a third party central station, we do not own, install, or service any subscriber accounts directly , these steps are accomplished by the alarm dealers directly. We put great emphasis on tailoring our business to help the independent alarm dealer grow with convenient time-saving features such as our secure internet based Dealer access program (,COP-A-Link,), which has recently been made available via hand-held internet accessible phones and devices. We also offer a dedicated dealer support team, Direct Billing services, two-way voice, Telemax (24 hour answering service), Timesaver Templates, False Alarm Reduction programs, and much more. Another expertise of ours is in the part-time monitoring arena. This is designed for small- to mid-sized independent dealers who are currently performing their own monitoring services, but are looking to outsource during off-hours, weekends, and holidays. We focus on helping increase revenue streams for our dealers. Some examples are video verification and GPS mobile monitoring systems. Consistency is a mainstay at C.O.P.S. For the past several years, our average response time has clocked in at around 16 seconds and our reputation for a high level of professionalism is well established in the industry.
