CEA List Revenue and Competitors

Digital technology, the core of our research CEA List is one of the four technological research institutes of CEA Tech, the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission’s Technological Research Division. Based in Paris-Saclay, France, CEA List conducts research and development on smart digital systems and transfers new technologies to businesses, contributing to their economic competitiveness. CEA List capitalizes on the expertise and skills of its 800 research scientists, engineers, and technicians to yearly support more than 200 companies from France and other countries through their applied research projects based on the technological bricks developed within four programs and nine technology platforms. 21 startups have been created since 2003. CEA List granted the Institut Carnot label in 2006 and is currently the Institut Carnot Technologies Numériques @ Paris-Saclay (TN@UPSaclay). A unique set of strengths CEA List’s R&D activities build on the institute’s four strengths: - technological and scientific excellence through papers and articles at high-level conferences and in top-tier international journals (300 publications per year); -technology transfer backed by a strong portfolio of enabling technologies (422 patents and 134 active licenses); -a national ecosystem spanning academia and industry (40 joint R&D programs and labs); -and an international scope, with more than 200 EU collaborative research projects and several joint projects with world-class international academic research labs.
